A-Gas and Toledo Mud Hens Raise Money for Connecting Kids to Meals
A-Gas has been a proud supporter of the Toledo Mud Hens and Walleye organizations since 2016. In that time, A-Gas has been able to donate over $75,000 to its chosen charity partners. This year, we’ve partnered with Connecting Kids to Meals to help combat hunger in Northwest Ohio.
Connecting Kids to Meals is a nonprofit organization dedicated to combating child hunger by providing hot, nutritious meals to children in low-income and underserved areas. Since 2002, they have served over 7 million meals, including nearly 500,000 meals in 2023 alone. The organization partners with over 100 nonprofits, schools, and churches to ensure kids receive essential nutrition year-round. Their efforts play a crucial role in stabilizing families and strengthening the community.
A-Gas was proud to be able to present a check to this exceptional organization as a result of a recent Charity Jersey auction with the Mud Hens over the summer. A-Gas team members will work with Connecting Kids to Meals again throughout the fall as part of our “Moments that Matter” initiative. This initiative supports our employees during key life events, including providing paid time off to volunteer for impactful organizations.
