Alfinal 270/4 is a liquid alkaline pickling component for use with aluminium and its alloys. A combination of Alfinal 270/4 and Alfisid products achieves an alkaline pickling and degreasing system for standard applications.
Alfinal 270/4 can be used either as an alkaline pickling process (Alfinal 270/4 on its own) or as an alkaline pickling and degreasing agent (combined with Alfisid). The aluminium surface is pickled with various intensities that depend on the bath conditions. The attack on the aluminium can be selectively controlled by altering the concentration, temperature and time.
Alfinal 270/4 is preferably applied by spraying, although it is also suitable for dipping processes.
